To eke out every minute of charge, turn off as many electronics as you can: radio, air conditioning, heated seats, even the headlights if it's daytime. Once you turn the engine off, it might not come back on again. Press The Brake Reminder Vehicles with automatic transmission won’t start unless you press the brake first. Use whatever charge is remaining in the battery to get somewhere safe, either an auto repair shop or your home. The worn brake pad warning can be red or yellow and informs you that the braking power is insufficient for a safe drive. If the battery isn't being charged, the electrical systems will start to fail. Your engine should be switched off immediately to avoid damage when the oil pressure warning light shows. Oil Pressure Warning A red oil pressure light indicates low oil pressure in the engine.
